A leading neurologist, David Perlmutter, MD, writes in his August 2024 newsletter: Researchers have recently discovered that a gut bacteria called Prevotella is found in alarmingly high levels in people with rheumatoid arthritis. This finding suggests that Prevotella and other bacterial imbalances in the microbiome may partly be pulling the strings of autoimmune diseases like RA.
The upcoming docuseries, The Gut-Autoimmune Solution, presents new material and 30 presentations on the autoimmune conditions that are plaguing humans. The series runs as a free screening August 19-26.
